A healthcare recruitment platform is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow in Care of the Elderly. The successful candidate will undertake administrative duties related to patient care, engage in clinical governance, and actively participate in teaching responsibilities for medical students and other staff. This role demands leadership, improvement of clinical standards, and effective team management.
Management and Administrative Duties: Undertake administrative responsibilities related to patient care and the operation of clinical areas. This includes writing discharge, results, and referral letters. Lead and manage the team through adaptable, visible, and modest leadership to ensure a committed approach. Drive standards by implementing improvements with clear guidance, encouraging constructive feedback and challenges. Support solution-focused decisions based on facts, recognizing the value of multidisciplinary contributions. Delegate tasks effectively with realistic expectations and ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
Clinical Audit and Governance: Participate actively in monitoring and improving standards and managing critical incidents. Support the implementation of evidence-based guidelines.
Teaching Responsibilities: Engage fully in the education and training of medical students, trainee doctors, paramedical, nursing, and other staff. Provide honest and constructive feedback, teach by example, and foster curiosity among trainees.
