Job summary

Wrightington Wigan & Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow in Anaesthetics at ST3+ level to join our multidisciplinary team. You will work clinically in Theatres and Maternity, with an out-of-hours rota at the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary site.

Applicants should have GMC Registration, ALS, and aim for FRCA or be actively pursuing it; you will gain experience across Pre-Operative, Pain services and elective theatre lists at Leigh and Wrightington.

Qualifications

• GMC registration is required.
• Primary FRCA or actively working towards this post.
• Current ALS certification.
• Evidence of completed audit/QI work and teaching experience.

We are currently seeking a Senior Clinical Fellows in Anaesthetics to join us working at ST3+ equivalent level.

Main duties of the job

Working clinically in Theatres/ Maternity and includes an out of hours rota commitment to the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary hospital site.

Qualifications

• GMC Registration
• Passed Royal College Initial Assessment of Anaesthetic Competency (IAC) and College Initial Obstetric Anaesthesia Competency (IAOAC)
• Current ALS
• Primary FRCA or actively working towards this

• Evidence of delivering teaching to junior trainees or multidisciplinary team

Experience

• More than 18 months experience of working in Anaesthetics and Critical Care within the NHS
