Job description

Job summary

We are seeking a Senior Clinical Fellow to join our dynamic Acute Medicine team across both hospital sites. Our team is dedicated to providing excellent patient care, ensuring quick patient turnover, and improving patient flow, supported by excellent training facilities for trainees and junior doctors.

The role involves working across assessment units, including the SDEC unit, participating in the on-call rota to deliver a 7-day service. This recruitment is part of our recent service expansion and vacancy.

Following a trust and local induction, the successful candidate will undergo a shadowing period. We support candidates aiming to enter an HEE training programme.

Candidate requirements include:

  • Full GMC registration
  • Full MRCP
  • Significant experience in Acute Medicine
  • Up-to-date ALS certification

Main duties include working across the assessment units at Queen's and King George Hospitals, supporting the medical on-call service, and contributing to departmental activities. Extensive induction and shadowing will be provided, along with online mandatory training post-recruitment.
