Job summary

Evinova, part of the AstraZeneca group, is seeking a Senior Clinical Solutions Engineer, Data, to lead customer data conversations and deliver scalable healthcare data solutions on our SaaS platform. You will partner with clinical operations, IT, and product teams to translate needs into validated data flows and integrated solutions.

The role blends clinical data expertise with hands‑on implementation, data mapping, and post‑sales support, with remote field‑based travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in clinical operations, data management, or related technical field guiding study decisions.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial data structures, USDM/CDISC standards.
• Hands‑on experience with clinical data and feasibility data, including cost/finance data.
• Experience implementing data integrations for enterprise SaaS customers.
• Experience with structured data formats and secure file transfer.
• Familiarity with version control, CLI, and cloud concepts (e.g., AWS).
• Experience with Jira and Confluence for work tracking and documentation.
• Ability to analyze data flows, identify discrepancies, and troubleshoot complex data issues.
• Ability to manage high‑visibility technical engagements and own problems end to end.
• Executive presence with the ability to translate technical topics for non‑technical audiences.
• Highly organized, resilient, and adaptable in a fast‑moving product space.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer data conversations, define data requirements and datasets.
• Advise on data standards and mapping to Evinova offerings.
• Develop data landscape expertise and provide technical oversight during implementation.
• Present to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Guide data collection, transformation, and onboarding processes.
• Load datasets into customer environments and validate loads.
• Review data quality and resolve issues prior to load.
• Coordinate with Product/Engineering to resolve defects and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Manage changes and timelines with governance and environment promotions.
• Communicate progress across customers and internal partners; mitigate risks.
