Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde is recruiting a Principal Clinical or Counselling Psychologist (Band 8A) to work 0.4 WTE (14.4 hours) per week at Florence Street CMHT in the Gorbals, Glasgow, on a permanent basis.

You will hold a Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology and be HCPC registered, with experience in adult mental health. You will supervise staff, provide trainee placements, and contribute to MDT governance.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology is required.
• HCPC registration is required.
• Experience in adult mental health and supervision of others.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a high-quality Psychology Service to adults in the Community Mental Health Team.
• Provide supervision of psychological interventions and governance within the MDT.
• Line management and professional support within South Glasgow’s Adult Mental Health Psychology Department.
