Job summary

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 8a Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join the Adult Neighbourhood Community Mental Health Services across Surrey. The post is full-time (1.0 WTE, 37.5hrs) based in Staines and Chertsey, offering psychological assessments and interventions for adults with complex mental health needs.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology required.
• Completion of an appropriate clinical supervision course to enable supervision of trainees (or within 6 months).
• HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist (essential).

Responsibilities

• Provide psychological assessment and interventions for adults with complex mental health needs.
• Contribute to clinical practice, service development and project work.
• Collaborate with Integrated Neighbourhood Team and partners to deliver person-centred care.
