We are seeking a full-time, enthusiastic, and committed clinical/counselling psychologist or psychotherapist to perform at a band 7 level and join our well-established, dynamic adult mental health service in Kent, serving the areas of Swale and surrounding countryside. Candidates experienced in practicing CBT interventions, including Third Wave, CAT, or EMDR, are welcome.
Main duties of the job
You will be involved in providing assessment and treatment (individual and group), participating in multidisciplinary staff development and supervision, enhancing psychological therapies for adult mental health patients—especially those with psychosis—service development and evaluation, and engaging in a monthly program of continuing professional development. You will also be part of services preparing for the Transformation, collaborating with colleagues in VCSE HEE-funded training, and internal supervision will be available.
