Job summary

Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust in Slough is seeking a Senior Clinical Coding Analyst to join a hybrid team. The role requires on-site presence at Frimley Park or Wexham Park hospitals at least two days per week, with flexible home/office options and a salary range of £33,677 to £40,996 per annum, including HCAS.

Qualifications

• ACC Coding Qualification within the last 3 years.
• GCSEs including Biology as a minimum.
• BSc/Foundation Degree in a related science subject.

Responsibilities

• Analyse patient records and assign ICD-10/OPCS-4 codes accurately.
• Ensure coding meets national standards and deadlines.
• Support income assurance, clinical audit and performance reporting with high-quality data.
• Collaborate with clinicians to resolve coding queries and improve documentation.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement and digital transformation initiatives.
