Senior Clinical Analyst - Acute Care

Location: 1 London Bridge - Hybrid, 2 days a week in the office

Type: Permanent

HCA Healthcare UK's Information Technology Group (ITG) manages healthcare IT across hospitals, clinics, outpatient centres, laboratories, and related businesses.

The ITG Enterprise Systems Department includes teams for Business Systems, Clinical Systems, and Oncology and Diagnostic systems. Responsibilities include managing change requests, developing solutions to improve patient care, and transitioning solutions from project to support. This role is part of the Acute Care Services team within the department.

Responsibilities:
  • Support and maintain live applications, ensuring support requests are handled per standards.
  • Maintain procedures and documentation for application support.
  • Manage application enhancements to improve performance.
  • Advise on security, licensing, upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery.
  • Provide expert advice to address client needs.
  • Assess risks of changes and coordinate updates.
  • Investigate business situations and recommend improvements.
  • Implement new and changed services and features.
Qualifications:
  • Experience with electronic healthcare records, preferably Meditech.
  • Familiarity with ITIL and ITSM services, delivering end-user IT support.
  • Experience with healthcare system upgrades, troubleshooting, and project roles.
  • Business analysis, software utilization, and feature development experience in healthcare IT.
  • Sensitivity to patient care concerns.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and solve problems analytically.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Self-motivated team player.
