Blue Legal are working closely with a leading national audit, tax, advisory and risk accountancy firm who are seeking a new Senior Clients & Markets Manager to join their exciting Business Development and Marketing team. The primary objectives of the role focus on regional growth by managing relationships, discovering fresh opportunities, overseeing bids, promoting campaigns, managing local data, and organising local events.

The Responsibilities:

  • Engage with senior stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making and business development aligned with firm-wide goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with intermediaries, prospects, and partners, leveraging sponsorships to enhance brand reach.
  • Lead prospecting, targeting, and lead generation activities, focusing on Private Equity and Listed sectors through events and networking.
  • Identify and execute business opportunities with new and existing clients, contributing to growth and market positioning.
  • Manage the end-to-end bid process, including proposal creation, pitch preparation, and debriefing.
  • Oversee a high-performing Clients & Markets team, including day-to-day management and annual appraisals.
  • Collaborate with the National Marketing team on strategic initiatives and support marketing activities as needed.

The Candidate:

  • Strong understanding of professional services, service lines, and regulatory challenges, with essential experience in business development within professional services.
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor teams.
  • Demonstrated success in lead generation, bid writing, and bid management.
  • Excellent client relationship management.
  • BD experience within Private Equity and/or Listed businesses (Preferred)
