Job Description:

The role

requires a combination of strong technical skills and the ability to manage client relationships at a senior level.

  • You must demonstrate thorough knowledge of pension administration activities and the ability to apply this knowledge to any scheme.
  • Previous CRM experience with both Defined Contributions (DC) and Defined Benefits (DB) schemes is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of pensions legislation, including taxation, contracting out, and preservation, is required.
  • Experience in handling complex member queries and calculations is essential.
  • Previous experience in leading client meetings and presentations is needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
  • Leadership, influencing, motivating skills, and a consultative approach to change management are valued.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and persistence in issue resolution.
  • Effective communicator in writing, face-to-face, and over the phone.
  • Project management experience in pension administration is advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education: A Level, Degree, or equivalent.
  • At least three C grades or above at A Level or equivalent.
  • Strong GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent.
  • APMI qualification or equivalent experience.
