Job summary

Rob Emsley Specialist Accountancy Practice Recruitment is working with a highly regarded firm in Exeter to appoint a Manager who can take responsibility for a client portfolio, supervise and mentor a small team, and drive high-quality service.

You will review and prepare year-end financial statements and tax returns, be involved in business advisory work and tax planning, and develop junior staff while delivering clear, proactive client communication.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification or nearing completion.
• Strong technical accounting skills in a practice environment.
• Experience managing client portfolios and supervising staff.
• Experience reviewing year-end financial statements and tax returns.
• Excellent interpersonal and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and oversee delivery of services.
• Supervise and mentor a small team of staff.
• Review and prepare year-end financial statements and tax returns for clients.
