A highly regarded Chartered Accountancy Practice near Tunbridge Wells is looking to appoint a NEW Manager to join their team. Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, ATT and/or CTA and at least 5 years' UK practice experience.
• Live within a 45 minute commute of Tunbridge Wells.
• Salary dependent on experience; higher salaries possible.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of clients.
• Review and oversee the preparation of statutory year-end accounts.
• Review corporation tax returns and advise on CT where appropriate.
• Review personal tax returns for individuals and directors.
• Review VAT returns and ensure compliance.
• Review bookkeeping for owner-managed businesses.
• Act as the primary client contact and maintain relationships.
• Support, mentor and review junior and semi-senior staff.
• Identify opportunities to add value and provide proactive advice to clients.

Duties

• Manage a varied portfolio of clients
• Review and oversee the preparation of statutory year-end accounts
• Review corporation tax returns and provide corporation tax advice where appropriate
• Review personal tax returns for a range of individuals and directors
• Review VAT returns and ensure compliance requirements are met
• Review bookkeeping work completed for owner-managed businesses
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong working relationships
• Support, mentor and review the work of junior and semi-senior team members
• Identify opportunities to add value and provide proactive advice to clients

What we're looking for

A successful candidate for this role will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ATT and/or CTA) and possess a minimum of 5 years' experience within UK Accountancy Practice. You must live within a 45 minute commute of Tunbridge Wells.

Salary is competitive & dependent on experience/qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.

Up to £14.79 per hour + Plus Holiday Accrual
