Job Description: Senior Client Executive

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Management team at Marsh McLennan. This role will be based in North England and could include our Midlands or North West England offices. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

Marsh is the only broker to have a dedicated Major Client team based outside of the London market. This role is ideal for experienced, ambitious Client Executives to develop a deep understanding of the risks and financial exposures faced by our clients and prospects.

A Marsh Senior Client Executive leads a multidisciplinary client team to deliver all aspects of insurance and risk management support. The successful candidate will be a team player, working closely with clients to manage their service requirements, insurance needs, and insurer relationships.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage a portfolio of large, complex, and/or multinational clients.
  2. Develop and execute renewal/placement strategies in conjunction with the broking and client service team, following client instructions.
  3. Identify and pursue prospective clients or project work with colleagues.
  4. Build and maintain relationships with clients at multiple levels and serve as the primary contact for day-to-day needs.
  5. Deliver first-class broking and risk management support, manage projects, and collaborate across teams.
  6. Stay informed about market changes and contribute to the firm's knowledge base through active communication.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the insurance and risk management industry, from a client-facing background in underwriting or broking.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Dynamic and ambitious with relevant client-facing experience.
  • Ability to understand large clients, their risks, and exposures.
  • Calm under pressure and flexible in work approach.
  • ACII qualification (or equivalent).
