Osborn Executive Recruitment Ltd is sourcing a Senior Client Accountant in London for a portfolio of offices. The role requires understanding of commercial properties and service charges, with reporting, audit packs, statutory accounts, VAT, and cash-flow management.

The position is hybrid (3 days in the office, 2 days at home) with strong bonus potential and enhanced pension benefits. You will liaise with Asset Managers and Surveying teams and provide client support across all deliverables.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preparing year end accounts across a commercial portfolio of properties is highly desirable.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment ensuring strict deadlines are met.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Reporting to clients (standard and client specific reporting) ensuring all KPIs are adhered to.
• Preparation of audit packs.
• Preparation of full statutory accounts.
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of client reports.
• Preparation of VAT reports and returns
• Principal point of contact for client queries, providing support and advice
• Internal point of contact for Surveying colleagues working closely to ensure all client deliverables are met
• Carry out Balance Sheet reviews and remedial work, with full narrative
• Management of client and property cash-flow and funding
• Annual property service charge reviews and liaise with Asset Manager and Service Charge Team to ensure completion within best practice guidelines
• Responsible for understanding, preparing and reviewing property take on and handover information
• Attend client and internal meetings as and when required
• Manage and maintain the property and lease database for all clients
• Review the work of other team members
• Ad-hoc tasks/projects instructed by Senior Directors and clients
