I am seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join my clients multi sited accountancy practice with various office locations across Cumbria. Managing a portfolio of 50-75 clients, you will provide expert financial guidance, ensuring tax efficiency and financial growth. This is a client-facing role that requires a proactive approach to tax planning, forecasting, and profitability enhancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage a portfolio of 50-75 clients, ensuring compliance and financial success.
  • Provide expert tax planning advice, helping clients minimize liabilities and maximize opportunities.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns.
  • Offer strategic forward planning guidance to support client profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as their trusted financial advisor.
  • Keep up to date with the latest tax legislation and regulatory changes.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with experience in an accountancy practice.
  • Strong knowledge of tax planning, compliance, and financial forecasting.
  • Exceptional client management and advisory skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and provide insightful, strategic recommendations.
