Qualifications

Job description

Our client seeks a Senior Client Accountant to join their team.

Role Profile: As a Senior Client Accountant within the team of seven people, you will assist the Client Accounting Manager in fulfilling the service to a diverse range of clients.

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Production of management accounts and financial statements for companies and trusts.
  • Preparation of CT600 and Companies House filings, responsibility for all payments and submissions.
  • IOM Tax and VAT returns ensuring all deadlines adhered to.
  • Liaise with external advisors (e.g. auditors, tax specialists) as necessary.
  • Supervise and coach a small team of part-qualified accountants.
  • Peer review financial statement and tax computations produced by other senior accountants.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Professional qualification (ACCA preferred) with up to five years post-qualification experience.
  • Working knowledge of offshore trust and corporate structures an advantage.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office tools, particularly in Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Viewpoint and/or IRIS systems would be beneficial.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
