A local government organization in Arbroath is looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide administrative support to a team working with adults facing substance misuse challenges. The role requires strong customer care skills, teamwork, and the ability to manage office duties efficiently. Candidates will supervise clerical staff and use Microsoft Office tools effectively in a busy environment.
Based at Bruce House, Wellgate, Arbroath.
This job is workstyle 2b. In this workstyle, work is regularly undertaken at a fixed point within council premises. There is no requirement for out-of-office working. You will have a guaranteed shared desk and will work where the service is needed to meet customer demands.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, outgoing individual with a positive attitude to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess good customer care skills and the ability to be a team player. You will work as part of a team providing administrative support to an integrated team that supports adults with substance misuse across Angus.
This is a busy environment. You will be required to supervise clerical staff within the admin team, use various Microsoft Office packages across both Council and NHS, input data into client index systems, attend meetings and take minutes or notes, process prescriptions, support with preparing standard reports, and perform all other general office duties.
