A local government council in Brechin is seeking a part-time school office administrator to manage data entry, pupil records, and school funds. Responsibilities include reception duties, processing mail, and assisting parents. Applicants must be eligible for PVG Scheme membership. This job is workstyle 1 - Fixed.
In this workstyle most of your time is spent undertaking the direct delivery of front-line services work. Depending on your role there may be a limited requirement to access a specific council location during the course of the working week if you are not delivering your service at a council location.
Working in the school office, you will be responsible for the input of data in the SEEMiS database, maintaining and updating pupil records and processing school funds including the operation of the ParentPay system and reconciliation of the DSM and School Fund budget. You will also manage SMT diaries and process incoming and outgoing mail.
You will undertake reception duties and be a first point of contact, dealing with queries from parents/carers and utilising the Groupcall system.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
