The Role

A State Government Agency is seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to provide support and guidance on workers' compensation, injury management, and return-to-work strategies. This is a 12 month initial contract that runs until April 2026 with a potential to extend.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on workers' compensation, return-to-work processes, and injury management.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and support workplace leaders in managing employee health.
  • Identify risks, navigate complex issues, and provide support for appropriate action.
  • Conceptualise, initiate, implement, promote, and evaluate complex workers' compensation projects.
