Job summary

Rokstone Underwriting in London seeks a Senior Claims Handler Liability to own a portfolio of complex US and international liability claims, from notification to settlement. You will balance commercial judgment with technical expertise while delivering a market-leading claims experience.

You’ll partner with brokers, insureds, reinsurers and legal advisers, navigate coverage and reserving challenges, and contribute to continuous improvement across the claims function.

• Own a portfolio of complex US and International Liability claims, shaping strategy from first notification through to settlement, recovery and resolution while protecting client and business outcomes.
• Partner with brokers, insureds, reinsurers, legal advisers and claims suppliers to drive timely decisions, manage risk effectively and deliver a market-leading claims experience.
• Use technical expertise to navigates coverage, liability, litigation and reserving challenges, providing clear direction on high-value and sensitive matters.
• Turn claims insight into action by identifying trends, informing underwriting decisions, supporting large loss governance and improving portfolio performance.
• Strengthen the wider claims function through coaching, knowledge sharing and process improvements, helping build a high-performing, accountable and collaborative culture.
