Direct Line Group is seeking a Claims Performance Analytics Lead to join the Claims Analytics team on a hybrid basis with two Leeds office days per week. The role focuses on managing forecasting models, delivering data-driven insights, and guiding strategic decisions at the highest levels.

The ideal candidate combines technical ability with leadership and a passion for performance improvement, capable of turning complex data into meaningful insights that drive cost management and business

Qualifications

• Strong numerical foundation and data-driven problem solving.
• Experience with large datasets and predictive techniques.
• Proven ability to present complex data to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve forecasting models predicting claims trends and behaviours.
• Deliver clear analyses that influence CEO, CFO, and SLT decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver analytics solutions.
• Use SQL and statistical techniques to identify cost drivers and opportunities.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Lead a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement with data-backed insights.
• Mentor junior analysts to grow analytics capability.
