Overview

I am currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Syndicate seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to join their FL & Casualty division. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in FI and Cyber claims, with additional coverage in PI and other Casualty lines such as Medical Malpractice and Excess Casualty. The role involves handling claims across worldwide jurisdictions, including the US, and may be suitable for candidates at a more junior level. The work will include both open market and binder business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the management of claims within the Casualty Claims division, including:
   • Evaluating coverage and assessing quantum for claims within your authority, referring cases exceeding your threshold to the Head of Casualty Claims.
   • Reviewing bordereaux for approval and processing.
   • Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as Claims colleagues, Underwriters, and senior management.
   • Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders including brokers, adjusters, legal counsel, and TPAs.
   • Ensuring timely reserving and accurate reporting of claims.
   • Adhering to internal policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
2. Represent the company at external client and broker meetings as required.
3. Participate in industry networking events when appropriate.
4. Provide operational and administrative support as needed.
