Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Ipswich is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Technician. The role involves supporting the delivery of significant infrastructure projects across various sectors, with a compensation range of £40k-£50k plus benefits. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in infrastructure design and be proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and InfoDrainage. Qualifications

Senior Civil Technician

Our client is a leading engineering consultancy who are expanding their Civils team following a series of major project wins.

They're now looking for an experienced Senior Civil Technician to support the delivery of infrastructure schemes across a wide range of sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare, and life sciences.

This role offers the chance to work on technically interesting projects in the UK and overseas, ranging in value from £10m to £250m.

You should have at least 2 years' experience in infrastructure design and be proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and InfoDrainage (or similar). Knowledge of sectional agreements relating to drainage would be an advantage, as would experience with SuDS, flood risk, levels and cut/fill.

As a senior technician you should be comfortable producing technical drawings, working collaboratively with the engineers on a project.

About you:

HNC/HNC or similar

Technician or Graduate membership of the ICE preferred (although not essential)

Extensive experience working on UK and overseas infrastructure projects

Flexible, friendly and with strong desire to progress career
