Job summary

InSite Technical Services Limited, part of Vulcain Engineering Group, invites applications for a Lead Civil & Structural Engineer based in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. You will oversee civil and structural scope on EPC projects, coordinating with the Technical Authority, Engineering Manager, and clients to deliver concept through detailed design.

Qualifications

• Experience leading civil and structural deliverables in an EPC project environment.
• Delivered design packages across Concept, FEED and Detailed Design for Oil & Gas, Energy, COMAH, Industrial, or similar projects.
• Strong understanding of civil and structural design development with relevant codes and standards.
• Able to coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams and EPC contractors/owners.
• Brownfield or modification project exposure is advantageous.
• Reside locally to Pembrokeshire.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural engineering capability and personnel across multiple projects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design interfaces and develop civil/structural deliverables through Concept to Detailed Design.
• Oversee layout development, design, and calculation reporting, and maintain technical standards.
• Provide mentoring and coaching to engineers and designers, supporting capability growth.
• Assist with proposals, estimates and design planning inputs.
