Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Middlesbrough is seeking a Senior Civil Structural BIM/CAD Designer. You will produce civil and structural CAD design deliverables using Aveva E3D for 3D modelling and other tools. The role requires on-shore oil & gas experience. This is a 12-month contract offering competitive pay outside IR35.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil and structural CAD design deliverables.
• Proficiency in creating 3D models.
• Ability to extract 2D drawings.

Responsibilities

• Produce civil and structural CAD design deliverables.
• Use Aveva E3D for 3D BIM modelling.
• Use Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD for some elements.

Skills

On-shore oil & gas experience

Able to use Aveva E3D software to produce models in 3D

Extensive experience of PDMS

Civil works experience - earthworks, road layouts, tunnels, utilities protection

What you'll be doing:

• You will be producing civil and structural CAD design deliverables, including 3D models,
• Using Aveva E3D for 3D BIM modelling and 2D drawing extraction,
• Using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD for some elements.

What you'll need:

• On-shore oil & gas experience,
• Able to use Aveva E3D software to produce models in 3D,
• Extensive experience of PDMS,
• Civil works experience - earthworks, road layouts, tunnels, utilities protection is an advantage.
