Job summary

VolkerFitzpatrick, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Senior Planner for a civil engineering project in Birmingham. You will provide planning support to the Project Lead, ensure compliance with tender and contract requirements, and reflect the technical scope in project plans across multiple contracts.

The role requires proven planning experience, strong software skills (Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject), NEC/JCT contract familiarity and civil/highways project exposure.

Qualifications

• Proven project planning experience.
• Detailed knowledge of planning software Primavera P6 / Asta Powerproject.
• Experience with NEC/JCT contract types.
• Experience on Civils, Aviation or highways projects.
• Degree qualified (or equivalent).
• Hold a valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Providing project planning support to the Project Lead and their teams.
• Ensuring that all clients tender and contractual requirements are understood and complied with in relation to project planning, resource planning and progress planning.
• Ensuring that the project plans for assigned contracts accurately reflect the technical scope of works
• Monitoring progress and identifying risks early, ensuring proactive solutions are in place.
• Providing expert planning adviceacross multiple projects, influencing outcomes and driving excellence.
