Senior Civil & Infrastructure Lead

Location: Peterborough

Salary: £55k-£60k plus benefits

Our client has recently opened an office in Peterborough and is building the team there. They are looking to make a strategic hire of a Senior Civil & Infrastructure Lead who will be responsible for checking and reviewing design deliverables to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet required standards.

The role is within the water sector and offers a diverse programme. You will be expected to develop junior engineers and focus on outcomes that reduce carbon, protect and increase natural capital, and address climate change - all whilst embracing innovation and new digital technologies.

The successful candidate will support the Senior Design Manager by checking civil designs, calculations, and specifications, as well as undertaking site visits to carry out asset condition surveys for assessing reuse. You will have experience checking hydraulic design of gravity pipelines and pipe specifications.

Experience of water-sector projects is vital, along with knowledge of all relevant regulations and codes of practice.
