The Role

We are seeking a Civils Technician or Senior Civil Technician to join a growing multidisciplinary consultancy based in Braintree. Specializing in Civil & Structural engineering, this well-established firm supports projects across residential, commercial, education, and healthcare sectors. They are known for delivering innovative and cost-effective solutions, from initial feasibility to detailed design and construction.

Responsibilities

• Producing detailed civil engineering drawings and designs using Civil 3D
• Supporting engineers in designing highways, drainage, and infrastructure schemes
• Working on various projects including residential, commercial, and public sector developments
• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions

Additional Information

• Business Mileage: Reimbursed per expenses policy; home to office mileage is not reclaimable
• Annual Leave: 25 days (pro-rata), including 3 days for Christmas shutdown

• Probation Period: 6 months with a 3-month review
• Work Arrangement: Hybrid working after 3 months (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)
