Stantec is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer for the Water division in Gloucestershire. You will lead civil design on major water projects across the UK & Ireland, guiding teams through AMP8 deliverables and influencing innovative solutions.

You will mentor graduates and junior engineers, drawing on your Civil Engineering background to deliver needs analysis, feasibility, and detailed design while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered status or active chartership progression preferred.
• Water industry experience preferred.
• Ability to mentor graduates and junior engineers.
• Track record of delivering designs within timescales and budgets.

About you

• You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering.
• Ideally, you will be a member of a relevant engineering institution and actively working towards your chartership, if not already chartered.
• Previous experience working within the water industry is preferred.
• Be one of the key players in projects that are making a real difference to local communities across the UK.
• Drawing from your civil engineering experience in the water industry, you will, as part of a team, work on projects from needs identification and feasibility, through to outline and detailed design.
• You will have the ability to support and mentor graduates and junior engineers as they begin their careers.
• Enhance your technical knowledge as you work collaboratively with other disciplines to develop innovative solutions for our clients.
• You will also have a track record of undertaking designs and complete design deliverables within required timescales and design budgets.
