Job summary

BakerHicks is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to support our Civil & Structural team during a peak project delivery period. The role is contract-based and requires stepping in quickly to own defined design packages and deliver with minimal supervision.

Initial work spans drainage, earthworks, pavement design, utilities and external works, with potential nuclear/defence exposure subject to clearance. Hybrid working is available from London, Warwick or Manchester offices.

Qualifications

• This role requires a relevant civil engineering qualification or degree.
• Experience using MicroDrainage, InfoDrainage and Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil engineering design packages across a broader civils scope.
• Take ownership of defined work packages and progress them independently.
• Apply technical knowledge across drainage, earthworks, pavement design, external works, levels and utilities.
• Coordinate design information and interfaces across project teams and disciplines.
• Use MicroDrainage or InfoDrainage and Civil 3D for design tasks.
• Support project delivery across infrastructure, power, buildings or development environments.
