Job description

My client, a large, accomplished Multidisciplinary Consultancy, is currently looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team of expert design engineers in the beautiful Northern city of Bradford.

Essential Criteria:
  1. Extensive experience in the industry
  2. A Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent, relevant commercial experience)
  3. Chartered Membership of a recognised Professional Body (or actively working to attain Chartered status)
  4. Demonstrable experience of producing designs for external works and levels
  5. Excellent working knowledge of section agreements, applicable to commercial and industrial projects
  6. Good knowledge of relevant software packages, including Civils 3D and InfoDrainage
Desirable Skills:
  1. A good eye for detail and excellent analytical skills
  2. Ability to work comfortably within a team and independently
  3. Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
Role Responsibilities:
  1. Producing infrastructure designs for residential and industrial projects
  2. Carrying out Flood Risk Assessments and drainage reports
  3. Preparing calculations and drawings for adoptable drainage systems and pipelines, aligned with relevant agreements
  4. Producing 3D ground models for infrastructure projects
  5. Liaising with clients and stakeholders, e.g., Environment Agency, Water Authorities
  6. Supporting project management and contributing to project success
