Job summary

Pertemps TM Liverpool are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to deliver infrastructure projects from concept through to completion. You will lead design work, manage client relationships and mentor junior engineers, taking ownership of outcomes and helping to grow the Liverpool office.

The role offers hybrid working and a competitive salary of £40,000–£60,000 per year, depending on experience. You’ll join an award-winning consultancy that values technical excellence and practical

Qualifications

• At least six years’ experience in a UK civil engineering design consultancy.
• Experience across sectors, especially residential development.
• Strong infrastructure design knowledge: highways and drainage.
• Experience with Section 278, 38, 185 and 104 agreements.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfoDrainage, WinDes.
• Excellent organisational, communication and presentation skills.
• Mentoring junior engineers and leading projects.

Responsibilities

• Leading design and delivery of civil engineering and infrastructure projects across sectors.
• Managing projects from feasibility to construction.
• Developing relationships with clients, authorities and stakeholders.
• Preparing highway, drainage and infrastructure designs.
• Coordinating with highway and drainage adoption processes.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentoring junior engineers.
