Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd in Exeter is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join an infrastructure design team working from planning through detailed design and approvals.

You will bring a Civil Engineering degree with around five years' highway infrastructure experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and familiarity with standards such as Manual for Streets, DMRB and LTN 1/20. The role also offers a hybrid working setup and ICE-accredited training for career development.

Qualifications

• Must have a Civil Engineering degree with around five years' industry experience.
• Background in highway infrastructure and experience in development/master planning.
• Familiarity with relevant design standards (Manual for Streets, DMRB, LTN 1/20).

Responsibilities

• Provide civil engineering input from planning through to detailed design and technical approvals.
• Contribute to development masterplans and site level analysis; prepare preliminary highway and drainage designs for planning applications.
• Support S104, S38, and S278 approval processes; mentor junior team members.
