Job summary

Skilled Careers is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our Wimbledon-based team. You will lead civil engineering design from feasibility through detailed design and construction, coordinating with clients and multidisciplinary teams on sustainable infrastructure projects.

The role requires UK drainage, SuDS and Flood Risk Assessments, with strong project management, mentoring, and collaboration. Flexible hybrid working and career progression are offered.

Qualifications

• UK consultancy experience is essential.
• Proficiency with MicroDrainage and/or InfoDrainage and Civil 3D.
• Experience developing SuDS strategies for urban developments.
• Experience preparing Flood Risk Assessments across flood zones.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering design from feasibility to detailed design and construction.
• Develop drainage strategies and Flood Risk Assessments.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, specs and reports.
• Manage programmes, budgets and deliverables.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, local authorities and design teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure UK standards compliance.
