Job summary

BSP Consulting has an immediate vacancy for a Senior Civil Engineer in Leicester to join our civil engineering design team.

The role focuses on design and drafting of SuDS, external works, and Section 38/104 for adoption, with BIM level 2 and AutoCAD as standard outputs.

Candidates should have 3–5 years postgraduate experience, degree in Civil Engineering, and be able to demonstrate AutoCAD proficiency and software like Civil3D/InfoDrainage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with strong academic record.
• 3–5 years' post-graduate civil engineering experience.
• Ability to demonstrate AutoCAD usage at interview.
• Knowledge of construction industry health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Design and drafting of SuDS schemes and external works.
• Prepare Section 38 and 104 works for adoption.
• Design civil works across residential, industrial, commercial sectors.
• Work in BIM level 2; produce final drawings in AutoCAD.
• Mentor and deputise for team leader in planning and resource management.
