Astute's Nuclear team is partnering with a government organisation dedicated to the safe and secure clean-up of a decommissioned nuclear power plant to recruit a Senior Civil Engineer on a 12-month contract for its Dounreay site.

The Senior Civil Engineer role comes with an hourly rate up to £53 per hour.

Key skills required for the Senior Civil Engineer role

1. Considerable civil engineering design and site experience.
2. Strong understanding of supply chain and CDM regulations.
3. Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Location, day rate and timeframe of the Senior Civil Engineer role

1. An hourly rate between £30.88 and £53.02
2. Inside IR35
3. 12 months contract
4. £75 travel and subsistence claimable for commuting outside of the local area.
