Overview

Our client is an award winning multi disciplinary design consultancy who are based near Reading. They are looking to recruit a Civil Design Engineer who has experience of Drainage Design on a wide range of residential and commercial type projects. The right candidate will undertake tasks designing infrastructure for commercial, retail, residential and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

• Design of infrastructure for commercial, retail, residential and industrial sectors including SUDS drainage systems, roads to adoptable & DMRB standards.


• Liaison with statutory bodies such as Southern & Thames Water, Roads Department, local drainage authorities.


• Attend design meetings, site meetings and carry out site inspections.


• Liaise and communicate clearly in a professional manner to colleagues, clients, contractors and other designers and to offer advice and guidance on matters relating to your work.


• Work on projects with consideration to the agreed project budgetary limits and time tables.

Requirements

• Master\'s Degree in Civil Engineering


• 3+ years of Civil Engineering experience


• Proficiency in the use of relevant technical analysis, design software e.g., PDS/Civils\' 3D/Micro Drainage/Causeway Flow and AutoCAD.

Salary: £38 to £45 per hr
