This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to work across a variety of high-impact projects nationwide, managing everything from early-stage concepts to final delivery. The work spans multiple sectors and involves a blend of technical design, coordination, and client liaison.You'll be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously, lead small teams, and deliver high-quality engineering designs - including drainage, external works, and ground levels - for both public and private sector developments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of civil engineering solutions, focusing on drainage, earthworks, and external works.
Manage project workloads, delegate tasks within the team, and ensure technical quality.
Act as a point of contact for clients, building strong, lasting relationships.
Support and guide junior team members in their professional development.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain awareness of project budgets and commercial performance.
Contribute to the continual improvement of team processes and technical standards.
What You'll Bring
Proven technical expertise in civil engineering, especially in drainage and surface design.
Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D (or PDS), and MicroDrainage.
Strong working knowledge of planning and development procedures, particularly those involving local authorities and regulatory agencies.
Experience working on complex, multidisciplinary projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
Commercial awareness and the ability to nurture client relationships.
A proactive, mentoring mindset with a passion for collaboration and technical excellence.
