Astute's Renewables Team is partnering with an international design consultancy to recruit a Senior Civil Engineer for its Glasgow site.

The strategically important Senior Civil Engineer role comes with a salary of up to 65,000 pension, flexible working and a car allowance on top.

Responsibilities and duties of the Senior Civil Engineer role

Reporting to the Head of Civil Engineering you will:

• Review civil works
• Complete Civil Design works including Earthworks, Drainage, Access Roads and potentially a small amount of Structural work
• Communicate with external contractors on site
• Offer support and guidance to junior engineers in the team

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

• A degree in Civil Engineering or similar (HND or higher is considered)
• 5 years' experience postgraduate
• Ideally experience working within a Renewable Energy position

The Senior Civil Engineer role would suit someone who is:

• Passionate about Renewable Energy
• Driving to succeed and likes working as a team
• Willingness to be able to travel around the UK / Ireland, should you be needed to
