Main Duties:

• Ensure designs are delivered within program and budget constraints
• Manage resource allocations for optimal team utilization
• Collaborate with Senior Management on cross-office projects
• Incorporate requirements of relevant authorities into designs
• Check and authorize design information and reports, providing feedback
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and guidance
• Foster innovation and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, including CDM Regulations
• Experience in Section 278 and 38 highway design projects
• Proactive management skills for growing workloads
• Strong technical skills in highway design environments
• Proven project management experience
• Experience in mentoring Highway Design staff
• Knowledge of highways technical documents within DMRB
• Experience managing contract documents for highway projects
• Expertise in highway drainage design and MicroDrainage software
• Ability to advise clients on technical issues in highway structures
