Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

Location: Warrington or Derby (Hybrid working available)

Salary: £48,000 - £62,500 (Depending on Experience)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Industry: Advanced Nuclear / Clean Energy

Clearance Required: BPSS (with DBS & financial probity checks)

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering demonstrator projects that validate the design, manufacture, and assembly of modular civil engineering systems and site factory solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of direct and indirect engineering staff to deliver civil kit-of-parts demonstrators and the site factory demonstrator.
2. Ensure the design for manufacture and assembly supports technical, cost, quality, and schedule objectives.
3. Align the delivery of demonstrators with modular construction strategies, ensuring supplier compliance with defined methodologies.
4. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and supply chain teams to ensure robust delivery.
5. Oversee project management responsibilities, including resource planning, budgeting, and reporting.
6. Manage project execution and stakeholder communication.
