Job summary

Millbank Holdings in Coventry, UK is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead delivery of civil infrastructure designs from concept to detail, coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Your duties and responsibilities will be

• Take technical responsibility for the delivery of civil infrastructure design packages from concept through to detailed design
• Coordinate and guide small design teams, contributing to multidisciplinary project delivery
• Produce, check and approve engineering calculations, drawings and digital models
• Review third-party and subcontractor design outputs to ensure technical compliance and quality
• Provide technical input into bids, fee proposals and project documentation while offering mentorship to junior staff

You will have the following qualifications and experience

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, with Chartered or near-Chartered status through ICE or a similar institution
• Proven experience in drainage, earthworks, SUDS, pavements and utility design for UK projects
• Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD within a design consultancy environment
• Sound understanding of UK standards and approvals processes, including S38, S278 and S104
• Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance to work on sensitive nuclear or defence-related projects
