Job summary

Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a Civil Engineer in Hemel Hempstead to produce design deliverables for clean water and wastewater projects. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in the UK water industry, focusing on hydraulic calculations and civil engineering standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' civil design experience within the UK regulated water industry.
• Experience supporting infrastructure, clean water, or wastewater projects.
• Experience producing hydraulic calculations and hydraulic profiles.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering standards and design deliverables.
• Chartered or working toward chartership.
• Full UK driving licence beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Producing civil engineering design deliverables across clean water and wastewater projects.
• Developing practical and efficient design solutions from scopes and site visits.
• Preparing calculations, reports, specifications, and design risk assessments.
• Supporting drainage, pipelines, pumping stations, roads, and associated infrastructure design.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary engineering teams and contractors.
• Supporting design reviews, constructability input, and project delivery activities.
• Managing design changes and ensuring technical compliance.
• Supporting programme planning and estimating activities.
