The Senior Cinematic UI / Motion Graphics Artist will work with our experienced Cinematics team to help finish Squadron 42, a realistic sci-fi blockbuster video game. They will work to our established script and story, staging impressive hologram style animated sequences, using existing assets, and creating bespoke 2D and 3D graphic design artwork. All animation and setup will be in our game engine (e.g. not pre-rendered After Effects videos), which comes with its own benefits and restrictions, so we need someone who is excited to solve technical challenges and deliver great work to strict deadlines.

  • Work as part of a small team to help them deliver finished shots to strict deadlines.
  • Actively learn new techniques, skills and technologies that are appropriate to the job.

What do we expect from our Senior Cinematic UI / Motion Graphics Artists?

  • Proven professional experience working in cinematic VFX, or video games cinematic animation.
  • Portfolio of appropriate work showcasing graphic design, digital cinematographic skills, timing and creativity.

  • Good graphic design skills, and experience creating assets in Illustrator, Photoshop and current 3D packages.
