Job summary

Osborne Richardson is seeking a Principal CIL/Section 106 Officer for a London-based role. The post requires extensive experience with S106 obligations and CIL, reviewing and defending planning decisions, and leading enforcement of S106/CIL processes.

You will work in a fast-paced programme and hit targets, with hybrid working and attendance in the office for meetings. The contract is initially 12 weeks, with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Experience with S106 obligations and CIL
• Proven ability to work independently on high-profile planning applications
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and corporate targets

Responsibilities

• Advise colleagues and applicants on S106 obligations and CIL
• Review applications for S106 and CIL relief/exemptions
• Review and defend the Council's decisions on relevant appeals
• Lead the implementation, administration and enforcement of S106 and CIL processes including the database of heads of terms, charges, allocations and spend
