Job summary

Jamieson Clark Limited is recruiting a Senior Chiller Engineer for a national M&E provider. You will service and maintain large commercial water chillers, fault find and fix on Turbocor units, and work on planned contracts across commercial sites.

Base salary £52,000–£60,000 per year, plus £4,000 bonus, door-to-door on 40 hours, and potential overtime. Company van or car, up to 11% pension, private health and 27 days holiday + BHs are included.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience servicing chiller systems, including chilled water.
• Ability to fault-find and fix efficiently in commercial environments.
• F-Gas, hydrocarbons, refrigeration and AC qualifications or training are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Focus on commercial planned preventive maintenance contracts.

Desired Experience - Chiller service and maintenance engineer, fault find and fix, PPM's, chilled water. Turbocor experience desired.

The Role

A leading national mechanical engineering provider seeks an experienced Chiller Service and Maintenance Engineer to add to their Air Conditioning, HVAC and Refrigeration Service Team. As a Senior Chiller Engineer you will be focused on commercial planned preventive maintenance contracts and fault find fix on large commercial and process projects working on water chillers from all the main chiller manufacturers.

Experience Required

You will have extensive previous hands-on experience servicing chiller systems especially chilled water and Turbocor's. Ideally you will be highly capable at fault find and fix. F-Gas 2079, hydrocarbons, refrigeration and air conditioning qualifications / certifications and manufacturer training would be an advantage especially NVQ level 2 or level 3. Great teamwork and communication skills are also important both from a client facing perspective and internal regional team co-operation to service contracts and resolve fault find and fix call outs both quickly and effectively. If you have worked your way up on the tools as an apprentice and are highly knowledgeable with or without Level 2 or Level 3 AC and refrigeration certifications then please still apply.

Their air conditioning, HVAC, refrigeration and Chiller Engineers all have extensive and advanced knowledge on servicing large commercial HVAC systems from the top air conditioning and chiller manufacturers and their Service Engineers are highly skilled at advanced fault finding and fixing.

The Package

Initial indications for the Senior Level Chiller Engineer / Chiller Technician are a base salary from £52,000 to £60,000 for 40 hrs per week, door to door, + £4,000 bonus (paid split quarterly) + overtime, a company van or car will be provided along with up to 11% pension contribution, private healthcare and dental. Furthermore, 27 days holiday + bank holidays.
