Birmingham Children’s Trust is looking for a dedicated Children’s Social Worker to safeguard and promote welfare for children and families in Birmingham. You will assess needs, develop care plans, and provide ongoing support in partnership with police, health, schools and voluntary bodies.

We value collaboration, strong communication, and the ability to work both in a team and independently. The role is hybrid, based in Birmingham, with a supportive learning culture and progression opportunities

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work and ASYE completed.
• Registration with Social Work England (SWE).
• Experience working with children and families in social work.
• Strong assessment and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.

Responsabilités

• Safeguard and promote welfare of children and young people.
• Assess needs and develop care plans with families and professionals.
• Provide ongoing support and monitoring.
