Salary: £29,200 - £30,400 per annum + £3,000 - £8,000 per annum for sleep-ins

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (39 hours per week)

Driving Requirement: Full UK Driving Licence required

Leader Recruitment Group is thrilled to partner with an established provider of innovative care and education services to recruit a Senior Support Worker for a children's residential home in Wisbech. Join a supportive team dedicated to making every day extraordinary for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This is an exciting opportunity to lead, mentor, and deliver exceptional care while advancing your career in social care. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to young people, fostering their recovery, growth, and development.
  • Lead and mentor a team of support workers, acting as a positive role model to ensure outstanding care standards.
  • Meet the daily living needs of young people, creating a safe and nurturing home environment.
  • Build trusting relationships with children, colleagues, and external professionals to make a lasting impact.
  • Support the Registered Manager in delivering therapeutic care tailored to each child's needs.
  • Contribute to a culture of growth and positivity, ensuring young people have opportunities to thrive.

About You

  • Essential:
    • Minimum of 12 months' experience in the care sector, ideally in a children's residential setting.
    • Naturally caring, flexible, and resilient with a passion for supporting young people.
    • Full UK Driving Licence and over the age of 21.
    • Ability to work flexible shifts, including sleep-ins.
    • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards).
    • Experience in a senior or supervisory role within a children's home.
