Job summary

Semi-Independent House Ltd seeks a dedicated residential care worker to support young people (ages 8–16) with emotional and behavioural needs. You will foster a warm environment, provide reassurance, and ensure high-quality service while promoting life skills and safe routines.

The role requires flexibility, a clean UK driving licence, and an enhanced DBS check. Sleep-ins and on-call shifts are part of the rota, with training and support provided.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check.
• Flexibility.
• Full clean UK Driving Licence (Essential).
• Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Sleep-ins as required.
• On-calls as per the rota pattern.
• Overtime as required.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Experience supervising a team within Residential Child Care.
• Experience with Behavioural and Emotional Difficulties.
